Frequently Asked Questions What Is CastleWar? CastleWar is a free online PBBG. How Do I Play? To gain power, you send your unique link out to your friends. Every time one of them clicks on it, you gain one citizen. If they decide to sign up from your unique link, you gain one citizen for every four they get. The goal of CastleWar is to have the most gold. Every turn (hour) you gain 5 gold for every citizen you have. The three players with the most gold at the end of the round (rounds last one month) will recieve prizes. That is why we need your mailing address and other information. Is It That Simple? For now. The game is still pretty new. We plan to add a large number of new features in the near future. Why Do You Need My Mailing Address? So we know where to send prizes, should you win. The Page Looks Weird, Why? Make sure you're running Mozilla Firefox. The site is also tested at 1152x864 resolution, so make sure you're running 1152x864 or higher. Also, not having a 4:3 resolution could cause issues. To see if your resolution is 4:3, divide the second number by the first number. It should come out to 0.75, or 3/4. My Friend Clicked My Link, Why Didn't I Get A Citizen? If you didn't get a citizen, either your friend's IP address is banned, or they already clicked your link within the past 24 hours. Will I Get A Prize For Winning Beta? Not a real prize. Everyone who participates in beta will get a few citizens to start out with, I'm not sure how many yet.
